In addition to her many working talents, Osa is the head of Farm security. Given her protective nature, intelligence and excellent sense of judgement she has always served this role well and I trust her completely.
Osa is a very talented working dog and one that I have learned so much from. She is not a dog who can be made to do anything and she is not tolerant of handling errors or micro management. If you handle her with trust and respect and don’t mess up, she will work her heart out for you.
On stock Osa has a lot of talent and more natural rate than any dog I have worked. As a farm dog she has done some amazing things including catching a Raven that was after my ducks, and at 10 years old going over 2 fences after an eagle that had caught one of my ducks. She has always been able to get through every fence I have, but not to wander, just to do what needs to be done.
She is well known for her talking in agility and Rally and makes some pretty funny noises when she is enjoying herself and some other sounds when her handler has made a mistake.
